A forensic glass analysis is typically a comparison of two or more glass fragments in an attempt to determine if they originated from different sources. Detailed explanation about different types of glasses and methods for examination have been discussed here.

Hair

Hair samples are one of the most important resources in the forensic analysis of crime scenes, often providing valuable information that can help to lead to the identification of a suspect or victim.

Instrumentation

The development of instrumentation has led to increase in more sophisticated and non-destructive method of analysis. Non- destructive techniques plays the most valuable role in forensic science as they can be conducted on very small samples and does not even require extensive sample preparation before the measurement.
